We are happy to announce that with the release of VolleyStation Pro 1.14, we’ve enabled live data refresh in many places of our application. Continue reading to learn more about this change, and how it can improve your workflow.
This version is currently being released in phases. We expect it to reach all users around mid September
Live data on bench
Up until now, to get latest match data in your bench reports and spreadsheets, you had to press a refresh button. This wasn’t particularly convenient for coaches, as they often forgot about it during the match.
With VS 1.14 all your data will refresh automatically, each time a match is changed. What is particularly important, is that this change detection works for multi-match reports and spreadsheets as well. If you ever wanted to create a comparison spreadsheet, that shows split data from current and previous matches, this is the best time to do it.
Live data in application
Changes from the bench, are also present in the main application. You will see data automatically refreshed in both spreadsheets and preset groups, with every code added to current match. Just like on bench, this system works with multi-match reports, so you can create comparison reports easily.
Performance improvements
To enable true live refresh of data, we did some significant, under the hood changes, in our volleyball logic. You will be able to feel this in most places of the application, especially when generating bigger preset groups. Those changes will allow us to deliver better performance on multi-core systems, so you can expect more improvements coming soon.
Give refresh a try
Changes mentioned in this article, will be gradually released to all VolleyStation Pro users. If you can’t wait, you can download VS 1.14 from your user panel. If you want to try VS Pro, then please contact us using the link below.
